Everwood Development Plans to Preserve City Place History

Everwood Development is moving forward with plans for City place at 730 Hennepin Ave in downtown Minneapolis.

“We are in the planning stages,” commented Elizabeth Flannery, one of the Project Partners, “everything is coming together beautifully – we are excited about the apartment lay-outs, the finishes, but mostly, we are really excited to re-energize this vibrant, busy corner of downtown Minneapolis, while keeping the historical influences of such a powerful building in the neighborhood.”

Elizabeth continues, “We began searching for historical information on City Place. Imagine our surprise when we found that the building was once named “The Lincoln National Bank,” and known as the “Gateway to the Land of the Plenty” – we are very proud to become a part of this building’s rich history.” (Click HERE to open the link to read all about the original City Place – The Lincoln National bank building!)
